About the event
Objectives of workshop: To train anaesthetists on advanced airway management equipment and to enhance anaesthetists’ skills in managing difficult airway in elective and emergency scenarios
Learning outcomes:
- To carry out fibreoptic intubations in manikins
- To demonstrate successful use of video-laryngoscopy on manikins
- To perform surgical airway on airway models
- To perform paediatric airway management manoeuvres
- To compare difficult airway algorithms in different scenarios
Method of Delivery: in person
Work Plan: participants will be divided into 7 groups. Each group will consist of five participants. Groups will rotate in a clockwise fashion, spending 30 minutes at each station.
