About the event

  • Objectives of workshop: To introduce the concept of clinical governance training in postgraduate paediatric program. To understand the concept of audit and quality improvement projects and to perform them. Also, to introduce the concept of safe prescribing in children and young people
  • Learning outcomes:  By the end of the session trainees should design an audit project relevant to their practice. In addition, they will discuss real cases where drug errors were reported. Hence during the online registration it is recommended to advice trainees to prepare a relevant topic from their experience to apply the principles of audit / QIP
  • Method of Delivery: Lecture and interactive session

· Dr Taha Ibrahim Yousif: Consultant paediatrician and Paediatric gastroenterologist, Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar, Senior Clinical lecturer RCSI

· Dr Sozan Elmusharaf: Consultant Paediatrician with special interest gastroenterology at Children’s Health Ireland, Dublin

· Dr Taissir Idris: Consultant Paediatrician diabetes and Endocrinology interest, University hospital of North Midlands Stoke on Trent

· Pharmacovigilance team, Federal Ministry of Health, Sudan
