Objectives and outcomes of workshop: By the end of the workshop the candidates should have skills, knowledge and attitude towered EBM:

• Recognize the definition of EBM, its importance and how to apply it on practice
• Understand the concepts of 5 As
• Understand the PICO format
• Practice on how to do well formulate PICO  question
• Be Familiar with concepts of : literature search strategies, level of evidence, type of medical literature and type of medical resources
• Practice on how to apply the literature searching strategies
• Understand the concepts of critical appraisal, its importance and its steps
• Practice who to apply the steps of critical appraisal
• Define and understand journal club and how to do journal club
• Understand the concept of knowledge translation, medical errors, the system intervention , individual interventions.
• Be familiar with guidelines, protocols, check list and  order set
• Define and apply morbidity and mortality meeting

Method of Delivery: Lecture, small working groups, smart-phone aid, buzz sessions and group discussion
