Objectives of workshop: This hands-on cadaveric workshop offers the opportunity to develop the basic skills and confidence in approaches to the shoulder girdle in the context of trauma.
Learning outcomes: By the end of the course, participants will be expected to: - Proper assessment and decision making for varies type of proximal humerus fracture. - Develop the require skill to deal with fracture proximal humerus with different method of fixation.
Method of Delivery: This is an interactive academic/case-based content from the faculty, with the emphasis on hands-on training in the cadaveric lab and sharing of tips and tricks with various methods include: - Lectures - Group discussion Panel debate session.Â
Practise different surgical approach and method of fixation on cadaver
Work Plan: Each 5 trainees will be assigned a trainer. Full day of lectures, group discussion follows by another full day of practical hands on training using cadaver
